Landlords
When you register as a landlord, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Phone number and preferred contact method
- Languages spoken
- Property listings including descriptions, photos and addresses
- Payment reference information (we do not store card details)
Tenants / Visitors
When you submit an enquiry, we collect:
- Name, email address and contact details you provide in the enquiry form
- Your preferred move-in date, duration and message
Visitors who browse without submitting an enquiry are not required to provide any personal data.
Automatically Collected Data
We may collect standard web server logs including IP addresses and browser information for security and platform improvement purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Operate the Platform and manage landlord accounts
- Display listings to potential tenants
- Forward tenant enquiries to the relevant landlord
- Send transactional emails (account verification, subscription reminders, enquiry notifications)
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Improve the Platform
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Landlord ↔ Tenant: When a tenant submits an enquiry, their contact details are shared with the relevant landlord so they can respond directly.
- Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform, including email delivery (Resend) and hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by Vietnamese law or a valid legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain landlord account data for as long as the account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
Tenant enquiry data is retained for 12 months and then automatically deleted.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in as a landlord. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We use your browser's local storage to remember your currency preference and recently viewed listings. This data never leaves your device.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to our processing of your data

8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
